Registered Manager – Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our care home. This pivotal role ensures the highest standards of care and wellbeing for our residents while maintaining a smooth and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full accountability for the overall delivery of care and operational performance of the home.

  • Provide strong, visible leadership to staff, fostering a positive, supportive team culture.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards (e.g., CQC, health & safety, safeguarding).

  • Monitor and continuously improve the quality of care and services provided.

  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing to achieve operational efficiency.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of team members.

  • Act as a point of escalation for complex care issues and decision-making.

About You:

  • Registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., NMC, CQC registration as manager if applicable).

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a residential care or nursing home setting.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and legislative requirements in adult social care.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Passionate about delivering person-centred care with empathy and dignity.

  • Able to handle responsibility, solve problems effectively, and lead by example.
